Historian Joseph Ellis expounds on the reasons that democracy cannot, and should not, be exported or "forced" on other nations and cultures. Ellis states in this video that the Founding Fathers would unanimously object to democracy being "introduced" to any other nation, because they understood that democracy has to be accepted by a people for themselves.
