I'm sure many of you have already heard that HBO has finished production on their newest series entitled, "John Adams." The series is produced by Tom Hanks and is based on David McCullough's Pulitzer Prize winning book "John Adams." John Adams is played by Paul Giamatti, while Abigail Adams is played by Laura Linney. I signed up for HBO just to see this show! I cannot tell you how excited I am. I just hope that it isn't a flop like most Hollywood depictions of the American Revolution are.
I read that this mini-series is only going to cover the years of the American Revolution - roughly from 1765 to 1788 - so we won't get anything about his presidency or his vice presidency under Washington...kind of a bummer, but oh well.
Ha! Guess what Lindsey? We will be getting HBO in March just for this show as well! What a bunch of history nerds we are!

I saw an inteview with a bunch of the cast for this mini-series. I have to say that I am even more excited now that I was before. The clips I saw were pretty exciting. They sure put a lot into the production of this series!

I think that I saw the same interview program, Lindsey. I totally agree...this looks like it is going to be terrific.
